The Journey Forward

SOME OF THE FIRST MAPS IN THE WORLD can be traced to caves in present-day Southwestern France dating back to 14,500 BCE. They were maps of places uncharted and untraveled. They were maps of bright stars in the heavens. They were maps of hope and promise that early humans aspired to progress toward someday.

Similarly, the paths ahead for capitalists and activists engaging in this new business of social change present uncharted and untraveled territory filled with hope and promise. Nevertheless, the journey will not always be swift, smooth, or straight. There will be many mistakes and missteps, false starts and failures, difficulties and discomforts.
