You don’t need much to make a card. You can create one with nothing more than a piece of paper, a stamp or embellishment, and a little time. This isn’t to say that you couldn’t take advantage of the wide range of supplies available at paper and craft stores—quite the contrary. In very little time, and with a lot of money, you can easily amass (or should I say “collect”?) numerous card making tools, accessories, and embellishments, from very affordable eyelets (see page 124) and brads at a couple of cents apiece to the extravagant-but-once-you-have-it-you-won’t-know-how-to-live-without-it electronic die cutting machine (see page 126).
