Coaching conversations: the coaching path
This chapter offers a supporting structure, or guide, for a typical coaching conversation. By ‘typical’, I refer to most formal coaching conversations, as well as many casual or unplanned conversations. The ‘coaching path’ is intended to help any coach navigate through a conversation. It is not intended to provide a definitive formula, or to inhibit your natural creativity and flexibility. Please use what follows to support and encourage your coaching, rather than be restricted by it.
