As we near completion of a creative project, it can be challenging and disheartening if we discover that it is not working in some way. The idea of having to reenter the work to make changes feels daunting. Also, we’ve been inside the work for so long that it can be hard to step back and truly see it.

This chapter presents some ways to explore creative ideas on how to work with an almost-finished project in order to enhance it and find a real sense of completion. It’s never too late to breathe new life into a creative work.
