In the summer of 2015, I made the decision I was going to at long last start my own business: an arts space dedicated to storytelling through all art mediums. The plan was to finish out the year at my job, find a property and then jump in headfirst.
I suddenly had the energy of two people. While tending to my already-demanding career, I somehow found time to form an LLC, build a website, write a business plan and learn QuickBooks.
