Most people don't do either—asking for clarity or helping people by clarifying, which can cause emotional friction—well.

Clarifying is valuable because it enables individuals to communicate more effectively with others, resolve misunderstandings, and prevent confusion. It is beneficial when there is a need to convey critical information, make decisions, or solve problems.
