Editing Objects is the precursor to Modeling. Basic Primitives (Mesh Objects) are Edited (Modeled) to create characters and components of a Scene. Editing is performed in Object Mode and Edit Mode by the basic procedures of Translating, Rotating and Scaling an Object as a whole or manipulating the Vertices of the Object's Mesh Surface.
