The Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Article 2 is the model legislations for the sale of goods. As of July 2008, the 2003 revision to Article 2 had not been adopted by any state, though 49 states and the District of Columbia have adopted some portion of the earlier version of Article 2. This chapter will examine key provisions of Article 2. Keep in mind that while it is called the Uniform Commercial Code, its adoption has not been uniform.
