If you manage a cooperative or condominium association, you’ll be dealing directly with a board of directors. A board of directors, as has been mentioned before, is a group of volunteers who are unit owners that devote their time to the association. They act as a governing body for the condominium and, thanks to the Condominium Act, they have powers to control what is permitted to take place and not to take place in both the individual units and the common areas.
