A trade exchange’s membership base is not a true reflection of the cash world. Rather, it’s composed of those businesses a trade exchange happens to sign up. For example, an exchange might have six dry cleaners but no dentists. In another exchange it’s the reverse. Not many dry cleaners, but dentists are growing on trees.
