For most people, taxes are an annoyance to be dealt with at various times throughout the year. They get the most attention in April, when people line up at the post office, minutes before the mid-month deadline, to get their federal income tax returns in the mail on time. But taxes aren’t restricted to the springtime. They bug you in the form of the pesky tax bills that show up in the mail, and they annoy you every time you see them deducted from your paycheck.
