This program makes it possible for students to pursue federal employment while they continue their studies. The program has two subcomponents: the Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) and the Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP).
Be careful when you’re searching for these opportunities; they aren’t always titled STEP and SCEP in the online postings. Your best bet is to check with an agency (call them or visit their website) to see what type of SCEP, STEP, and other internship opportunities they have available.
