Other Ways to Work in Government
The majority of this book focuses on the roughly 2 million jobs in the federal civil service. However, we recognize that many people dream of working on policy in a congressional office or becoming a federal judge. Some people are interested in working for their state’s law enforcement or helping nonprofits find grant money.
