Innovation and Education
The United States has a long history of innovation that extends to this day, with the Internet among the most successful and revolutionary examples. In fact, the Internet represents an excellent, recent example of the three ways in which many major innovations have occurred in the United States:
• It was a public/private effort.
• It delivered true economic advantages.
• It has been a disruptive technology.
