In most workplaces, plenty of interaction takes place among employees, and adequate interaction also occurs between employees and managers. In many workplaces, interaction also occurs between employees, managers, and customers. In some cases, however, communication between customers and employees is scarce or even nonexistent, and that can result in significant performance problems.
