Expanding Your Reach with Networks
When you signed up for Facebook, the registration routine asked for information about where you live, the schools you’ve attended, and even about the places you’ve worked. It uses this information to help find people you might know and want to connect with via Facebook. If you’d like to make your Profile (and perhaps other content, such as photos) available to more people, consider joining one or more networks, each of which is based around a workplace, region, high school, or college.
With the Network feature, you can relax restrictions on your Profile for people in a network, so they can see more about you than people outside the network can see. To join a network, here’s what you do:
