Exploring Existing Groups

The first encounter most Facebook members have with groups is when they receive an invitation from a friend to join a group. (More information about responding to such invitations is provided later in this chapter.) However, you don’t need to wait for an invitation to get involved in group activities. You can be more proactive by browsing groups or searching for groups that interest you.

Touring Your Groups Page

Before you head out to search for groups you may want to join, check out your Groups page. To get there from your Home page, click Groups in the left menu. The Groups page appears.
