Conversing in Groups

Groups provide two means of communication, each of which has a distinct purpose. Before you post anything to the group, choose the best place to post:
The Wall: A group Wall is like your Wall—a place where group members can post information listed in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
Discussion Board: On a Discussion Board, group members can create discussion topics that other members can then contribute to. As long as members stay on point, group discussions proceed in a fairly orderly fashion, making discussions easier to follow.
In the following sections, we show you how to post updates to your group’s Wall and carry on discussions via the Discussion Board.
