Enforcing a Small Claims Judgment
As part of the judgment handed down by the court, you should ask that a deadline be included for when the action the court orders has to be completed by. Once you have your judgment in hand, you can make a request to the other side that they fulfill their obligations under the judgment. Often, that’s all you have to do. You can ask verbally at the time the judgment is granted, and follow up with writing a letter asking that the other side pay up.
