The Announcement of the Decision

Once the decision has been reached by the judge or the jury, the plaintiff and defendant are notified that it’s time to return to the courtroom to hear the decision, or verdict. The parties enter the room first and wait for the judge (and jury, if there is one). The announcement of the verdict is very much like what you’ve probably seen on TV.
