Before You Write the First Word

Now that you have done your research, think about how you are going to organize your proposal and your book. Here are a few additional items to think about before you actually begin writing your proposal:
Focus! Have a clear organization in mind. Keep your book proposal on the right path. Don’t meander.
Remember the reader over your shoulder. The great poet Robert Gray said that writers should always remember their readers reading along as they write. Make sure your language is accessible for the audience you’re trying to reach.
