Writing Your Chapter Descriptions

Each expanded chapter summary supplements the chapter title with a short descriptive paragraph of at least two or three key descriptive sentences each. This format enables the agent and editor to visualize each chapter and assess how the book is organized and how the content flows. It will give them an opportunity to see what’s new and exciting about each chapter, as well as how the chapter fits into the part section and into the book as a whole.
