When Should I Create My Plan?
The answer to this question is “It depends.” Since a strategic plan generally lays out how an organization, division, department, or project will unfold over the next year or so, it makes sense to plan on an annual basis; however, the timing for the development of the plan may vary.
For businesses with a strategic organizational plan that will be used as the starting point to drive the development of other plans, plenty of time needs to be allocated to allow for the completion of all of these plans.
