The Elements of SWOT

There are four standard elements involved in the SWOT analysis. During the SWOT session, participants will go through each of these elements, in order, using a brainstorming process. Their observations will be captured by the recorder but not debated.

Organizational Strengths

The first phase of the SWOT analysis involves focusing on organizational strengths. Strengths are distinctive and positive things about your company and its products and services that set you apart from the competition.
