Creating Tactics

The operational steps that you identify are your tactics. While strategies give a general indication of how you will approach the accomplishment of an identified objective, tactics outline specifically what you will do. In fact, a good way to determine whether a strategy is really an objective is to ask yourself whether it is a how statement or a what statement. “Divide and conquer” is a how statement. “Deploy troops to infiltrate base camps” is a what statement, indicating what you will do to “Divide and conquer.”
