Course Correction

When performance is not meeting expectations, you need to take steps to determine why and to make course corrections. Sometimes the reason expectations are not being met is because targets were set at unreasonable levels. Sometimes it’s because those responsible for achieving the results don’t have the resources—staff, time, money—they need to be successful. Sometimes it’s because the plan is simply not being followed (yes, that can happen!).
