The Activity Feature
The activity feature, or activity feed, is the water cooler or newspaper of your social network. This is where the news of the day is broadcast to all members of the community. This feature provides details on the most recent actions in any area of your network, usually in reverse chronological order. Activities allow members to see what’s going on and who has been online recently. The activity feed provides hosts with a record of activity that can be useful for assessment and evaluation of how members are using the network.
