The Groups Feature

The groups feature allows members to connect in meaningful ways through niche topics or relationships related to the network. For example, a parent network may have groups for parents of different ages—babies, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, tweens, and teens. Another network might have groups to connect members living in close geographic proximity to one another. This feature can aid administrators with setting up real-world events to promote their product, cause, or activity. Or they can simply foster community. (You’ll find more information about in-person get-togethers in Chapter 12.)
