Consider Your Competition
While it’s always good to be a leader in any sales or marketing initiative, in this new era of social networking it’s also a good idea to look at what your competitors are doing every once in a while. Ask yourself:
• Are they doing something you should be?
• Is there the potential for a strategic alliance?
• Are they creating classic “don’t” examples to use in training your staff?
Whatever you glean, time spent observing the activity of your competitors is well worth the effort. As in many aspects of business, competitive intelligence is key.
