Laying Out Pages in a Desktop Publishing Program

With a PC and a desktop publishing program, you can create your own greeting cards, invitations, brochures, flyers, business cards, calendars, newsletters, and any other fancy documents you can imagine. The desktop publishing program does most of the heavy lifting. In Microsoft Publisher, for example, a Publishing Wizard leads you step by step through the process of choosing a template, entering your text, and positioning graphics and other objects on the page.
