Five Requirements for Operations Integration
In developing the plan for operations integration,
you must meet these five requirements if you are to succeed:
1. Create and communicate the conclusion.
2. Have the skills to use the deliverables.
3. Give users incentives.
4. Help users/operators make the transition.
5. Let stakeholders know the schedule.
Operations integration means that people are using the product or service (delivered by the project) exactly the way it was intended in the business case.
Let’s look at each requirement to see why it is important and then discuss ways to implement that requirement for success.
