Oblique Triangles

So far, we have mostly dealt with right triangles, though we have also mentioned other triangles (especially in Chapter 2, where we reviewed some geometry topics). There are many other types of triangles that are classified depending on the specific features you want to emphasize.

For example, to stress that a triangle is definitely not a right one, you can call it an oblique triangle. If you want to define the oblique triangle further, you can say that it is either an acute or an obtuse one (refer to Chapter 2). Finally, you can reveal more details about the triangle and characterize it either as a scalene triangle, an isosceles triangle, or an equilateral triangle.
