You can use hashtags just as anyone else on Twitter does and you’ll probably get good results by doing so. Let’s turn our attention, however, to a few ways that you can employ hashtags in your marketing campaigns.

Running Contests

If contests are a viable promotion for your business, consider crafting a hashtag to accompany it. By monitoring search results for contest entrants, the company can keep track of who is actively engaging with the brand and attract new participants.
