Leaders must consider their perceptions of strong leadership in the context of today‧s modern workforce. They will probably find it necessary to reframe the tenets of traditional, command- and task-oriented leadership to embrace instead a new, engaging approach to leadership. Engaging leadership focuses on personal respect for others and aims to work with individuals to harness their energy and potential in ways that meet overarching organizational goals.
