The key to a great diet is variety. This will ensure that you get a broad spectrum of nutrients – vitamins and minerals for everyday health.
A nutritional rainbow
The rule of thumb is to eat as many different coloured foods as possible throughout the day. Coloured food is full of nutrients – look for reds, greens, yellows, oranges and all the colours in-between. These will give you antioxidant vitamins that can protect you from disease. A broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals is really important.
