A fundamental premise of this book is that you cannot always count on the law to help you get away with committing the truth. As a result, one of our primary goals has been to provide corporate employees with information and guidance to successfully blow the whistle in the absence of full legal rights. Ideally, corporations would provide their employees with a voluntary disclosure system that genuinely aims to uncover and correct internal problems and then thanks the whistleblower.
