So, what is LinkedIn? Many people have still not heard of it.
You will most likely be familiar with Facebook. Facebook is simply a social networking tool – generally limited to social and not professional relationships. But the king of professional and business networking online is LinkedIn. And your first step in networking online should therefore be to create your LinkedIn profile.
You need to be aware that (a) LinkedIn is growing at a phenomenal rate and becoming an essential part of everyone’s job-hunting and networking strategies and (b) that there are many differences between a LinkedIn profile and a CV.
