Introduction
There is no higher priority within warehouse operations than the safety of personnel, followed closely by the security of customer goods. The inherent and dynamic nature of the myriad of activities, often occurring simultaneously, within the distribution center creates an ever-present and always potentially dangerous operating environment. Creating a safe environment begins with the person in charge of the warehouse operations. That person must constantly work to create and maintain a culture of safety.
