You’ve arrived at the church or hall with a flash or two, a softbox, and all your lighting accessories (and you should have all that), but before you set up, look around to see if you can find some beautiful natural light. In many churches, the diffused light from a stained glass window can be gorgeous, or even a high window in a hall—it’s worth searching out (look at the wonderful soft shadows above on the side of her face furthest from the window).
