I admit it, I’m a bit of a gear freak. But, the one time I definitely don’t go “big” is when I’m doing travel photography. You’re going to be hopping on and off of all sorts of transportation, from planes to buses to boats to taxis, and as the day goes on, the extra gear you’re lugging around somehow seems like it gets heavier and more of a hassle.
