My favorite time to shoot in a city is about 30 minutes before dawn, and one big reason is that the tourists aren’t around yet (about 45 minutes after this shot was taken, this area was absolutely packed with tourists and vendors). But, there are just so many other advantages to shooting early. First, the light is beautiful right before sunrise.
