More Tips for Working with Layers

We have only touched on the possibilities offered by layers, Smart Objects, masks, and paths. Graphic artists use these tools much more intensively than most photographers ever will. Paths can be used to insert graphic objects into pixelated images made up of multiple vector layers, which can then be transferred to other layer types where they can be colored and contoured. You can also achieve similar effects by importing Adobe Illustrator objects as Smart Objects.
