THE SUBJECT OF countertransference dreams always evokes great interest among clinicians. The preceding two chapters dealt with the ways in which a patient's dreams can be used by the analyst as a kind of superision, to help the analyst understand his countertransference and thereby be better able to help the patient with his transference.
