Troubleshooting

Having to troubleshoot unexpected problems is not unique to DSLR cameras, but the specific problems and tips in this chapter are unique to these cameras. Before you go out and shoot, make sure to read this chapter and make a cheat sheet for the known problems with these cameras. Be aware of the limitations so when you create the type of shot you want, you don’t create one that the camera cannot capture for you. There are problems and limitations, but they’re nothing that can’t be worked around. Knowledge is power in this sense, and the more you know, the more you can craft the way you shoot your film so you can be successful.
