Disaggregation in the Energy-Growth Nexus: An Indicative Literature Review

Abstract

This chapter sketches the different forms of data disaggregation, applicable in the energy-growth nexus field. Given that more robust results are necessary in the field, carrying out analysis in the various energy sectors and different economy sectors is important for result accuracy and for making results worthy of usage in policy making. The chapter ends with an application of disaggregated analysis in the energy-growth nexus for the United States in the period.
