Introduction
People are motivated by different reasons to move from country to country or from one place to another within a country. It is generally believed that whatever may be the reason, people move to such places as they aspire to be better off. However, such a simplistic explanation fails to capture the complexities that often underlie the migration phenomenon. There are, in fact, countless reasons and factors, which induce people to voluntarily and/or involuntarily get uprooted from their established communities.
