Transitioning to Implementation

Once you have a “last standing” framework alternative, it is time to transition from the framework design phase into implementation. The better the framework is understood and internalized, the better the organization can execute by adhering to it and fixing it as flaws develop. In the nirvana case, this transition is no big deal because you modify your framework whenever needed (not the yearly budgets-and-goals process) and have solid practices for adopting and adhering to new and modified frameworks. The imperative is to get the framework internalized as part of the fabric of the organization at all levels, especially throughout the line organization.
