If you can see it, you can create it. If you have a vision, then you also have the power to make it happen.
“Where am I going?” It seems like a simple question, but if you do not have a clear answer, there is no way to be a driver that is headed in the right direction. Every driver needs a vision, the outcome you are driving toward. There is power in a vision to create your future. A clear, positive vision will help you move the bus in the right direction and give power to your purpose and focus to your mission.
In Rule #1, you decided to become the driver of your bus, and that step is empowering. Your thoughts and vision are the steering wheel that will guide your bus where you want it to go. Now you need to take the next step toward that destination. Getting there will take proper, positive steering that is directed by desire, vision, and focus. Here is why each of these three elements is important:
- Desire: Your desire represents how earnest you are about achieving your vision. Desire helps you determine just how badly you want it and it makes you hungry to see your own success.
