Thoughts about a Changed Photographic World
THE ADVENT OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY HAS ALTERED the nature of photography in many ways. The biggest change, of course, is the sheer volume of photographs being made daily, largely due to the ubiquitous nature of cell phones, all having built-in cameras. (In fact, most of those devices have become cameras with a built-in phone and computer.) Is that a plus or a minus for photography?
