3.1 INTRODUCTION

Although a still image is a rich source of visual information, it is a sequence of such images that has captured the imagination of cinematographers, home video enthusiasts, and, more recently, video loggers (vloggers). The success of video as a medium is primarily due to the capture of motion; a single image provides snapshot of a scene, whereas a sequence of images also records scene’s dynamics.
